Thai Yoga Massage is a beautiful and powerful combination of massage, accupressure, stretching, twisting, energy work and meditation, all rolled into one experience. In a Thai Yoga Massage session, yoga postures are used with gentle stretching and pressure to open the energy lines. The therapist applies pressure to marma points (a juncture on the body where two or more types of tissue meet, such as muscles, veins, ligaments, bones or joints) along the energy meridians, using her hands, feet and elbows. Together these actions result in a comprehensive, full body treatment that relieves muscular tension, improves circulation, boosts the immune system and balances the body energetically.
As thoughts and feelings are completely intertwined in the fabric of the body, yoga and Thai Yoga Massage sometimes initiate the release of emotions. With a focus on balanced breathing, even muscular engagement and uniform stretching, Thai Yoga Massage can clear unresolved feelings while releasing muscular tension.
For your Thai Yoga Massage session you should wear comfortable clothing, that will allow plenty of movement. Wear little or no make up. Your session will last between 2 and 2.5 hours.

Currently, appointments are only scheduled on Tuesdays and Fridays between 11 am and 3 pm. Thai Massages are done at Marleen's residence. She lives with a dog and cats, so please take potential allergies into account when scheduling an appointment.
