Join us for a monthly Hiking & Yoga event hosted by the Solano Land Trust. This free yoga hike is lead by Barbara Fredericks of Benicia Yoga and Wellness. Guided by her love of the outdoors and passion for yoga, Barbara offers the free yoga hikes alternating at three properties managed by the Solano Land Trust: Rush Ranch, Lynch Canyon and Rockville Trails Reserve.
The pace is moderate and the yoga practice suitable for all; focusing mainly on standing poses. No experience is necessary. Wear comfortable clothes, sneakers or boots, and bring water and snacks for the hike. No mats needed, no RSVP necessary. Parking fees apply. Rain cancels.
We generally start with warm up stretches and periodic keep-your-boots-on yoga sessions throughout the hike. Come and enjoy yoga in the great outdoors!
Visit the Solano Land Trust website to learn more about the dozens of outdoor adventures and activities offered.
